WHERE WE CAME FROM

In the Spring of 2012, God placed a call in the heart of Pastor Ricky Mosel to plant his own church. In January 2013, he and his wife left their youth ministry of 17 years, and sitting around a table in his dining room with a six person team, Destination Church was born. The church started with a vision to lead people to Jesus by showing them that they matter, and has been working towards that since day one.

On September 7th, 2014 Destination Church launched its first official service: its team full of a vision to change its community for Jesus, with a pinpoint focus on the value of every person in the eyes of Jesus and a drive to do anything short of sin to save lost souls.

We will reach thousands of people not for ourselves or for prideful reasons, but because that is what God has called us to do. To show as many people as we can what really matters."

We believe that the school is the crossroads of the community. People from all walks of life meet there, and for that reason, God has put it on our hearts to have a laser-focus on a clustered school system.

In the upcoming semesters, it is our desire to continue strengthening our partnership with McDonough High School and the rest of the Henry County School System
